Lines we carry in the Salon include Aveda, Kerastase and Bumble & bumble.

This label represents our everyday ethical prices! Eethical Pricing is the initiative of the Founder of the Megahair Family. He felt it was important to show our guests that to maintain their services at home professional home care was the key at an affordable price for all.

Mega/Ecco Bucks  

ENVIRONMENTAL LEADERSHIP and the MEGABUCK/ECCOBUCK Recycling Program

Being an eco-friendly leader we wanted to demonstrate our environmental consciousness through our MEGABUCK and ECCOBUCK Programs. Recognizing the amount of packaging used in beauty products, The Megahair Family launched the MEGABUCK and the in 1997 to reduce post consumer waste. The program encourages our guests to bring back their empty containers in return for a MEGABUCK in our Zennkai Salon and Megahair Salon Divisions and an in Eeccotique Salons and Spas.

Our Bucks can then be used towards the next purchase of products at any of our locations by giving the guests ONE DOLLAR off each product ($5 or more) they purchase! The Megahair Family recycles all collected containers. The containers do not have to have been purchased at our locations to qualify for the program. Iin turn, the company takes responsibility of recycling the empty containers. Saving the environment as well as providing savings to our consumers is always our goal!

Since it’s inception over 12 years ago we have recycled over 600,000 pieces of Beauty Related bottles. Roughly the equivalent of 3 NHL sized hockey rinks lined up back to back and over $600,000 in coupons distributed.

Eco-friendly Plastic Bags

Always looking for new and positive ways to decrease the burden on our environment, in 2008 we introduced eco-friendly plastic bags. Each bag is coated with an eco bio-film which, once introduced into the landfill, degrades and eventually becomes organic matter.

Our commitment to service is unparalleled. We continuously strive to set the standard within the Beauty industry for the qualified professionals we employ. All of our highly trained service professionals have received extensive training that will enable them to give our guests the ultimate experience. We regularly ensure that our team of service providers meets the requirements to always give the best care to our guests and reach the level of expectation that has given us the reputation of an “Industry Leader”.

All of our Service Providers follow and practice Health Canada Rregulations for sterilization and sanitation. We are regularly inspected by local authorities and continue to exceed all set guidelines for sterilization and sanitation.

Giving Back!

The Megahair Family’s Philosophy has always remained simple and true, “Beauty from the inside out”. Our Company regularly participates in events around Metro Vvancouver. This enables us to give back to the community and to those unable to treat themselves to the many luxuries we sometimes take for granted.

Our most accomplished event is Daymaker Day. This one day event started in 2002. We embarked upon a day that offers much needed care and attention to families and children with illness. We donate and give our time and our spa and salon services to those who are often neglecting themselves during those tough times. We volunteer our time to: BC Children’s Hospital, Easter Seals House, SOS Children’s Village, Sunny Hill Centre and Ronald McDonald House. We offer much needed hair cuts, hand and chair massage, polish applications, face painting and often lend a caring ear to listen to their concerns and make them smile. This inspirational day truly gives us that sense of “Beauty from the inside out” and is a day that we cherish the most.

Team Building

Our Company believes in giving everyone a chance to celebrate their accomplishments throughout the year! The Megahair Family’s yearly reunion party brings the “family” together and hosts a dinner and drinks event with a night of dancing! Performance awards are given out at this event as well as amazing prize giveaways such as trips, computers, electronics, gift cards as well as salon and spa products.
